2.5 cm Metal Ring - Bag and Clothing Buckle is a metal ring or frame used on bags, belts, straps, leather goods and textile accessories. The key buying measurement is the inside opening where the strap passes through. Compare strap width, strap thickness and ring shape before ordering.
Key Features
- Working size: Not specified
- Application: Bags and Leather Goods, Belts and Straps
- Minimum order: 50 pcs
Choosing the Working Size
Use the inside opening rather than the outside frame size. A ring that looks large can still have a narrow strap opening. Test the real strap before production.
Before Ordering
Check strap width, thickness, ring shape, finish and the direction in which the strap will move through the hardware.
Strap Thickness and Hardware Shape
Inside width is only part of the fit decision. Thick leather, padded webbing and layered straps may need additional clearance even when the nominal width matches. Ring shape also changes how the strap sits. D rings can guide force toward one side, while round or rectangular frames allow different movement patterns.
Finish and Collection Coordination
When the ring remains visible on the finished product, compare its finish with buckles, zipper pulls, rivets, snaps and other metal hardware. Small differences in plating can become noticeable when components are placed close together, so sample approval is useful for coordinated collections.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which dimension should I use when choosing a metal ring?
Use the inside working opening where the strap or webbing passes through.
Can I use a ring with a strap of the same nominal width?
Often yes, but strap thickness and construction can require extra clearance. Test the real production strap.
Can these rings be used on bags?
Yes, when the inside size, shape and attachment method match the bag strap design.
Does ring shape affect use?
Yes. D, O, triangle and rectangular shapes guide the strap differently and can change the direction of force.
Should I test the hardware before production?
Yes. A sample confirms strap movement, clearance, finish coordination and visual proportion.
